Allen Matty

Managing Director 

Reporting to the main board Allen has overall responsibility the for operational and strategic delivery of the West Midlands Chambers of Commerce LLP business plan, including full P&L responsibility, budgetary control, contract management and stakeholder/partner relationships.

Allen has over 35 years’ experience working within an International Trade environment, both in the private sector (UK and overseas) and the management/delivery of Public Sector service contracts.  As WMCC Managing Director Allen is responsible for delivering the Department for International Trades’ West Midlands international trade services contract with 6 teams of advisers based at local Chambers of Commerce throughout the region.

Steve Havins

Head of Business Development & Partnerships 

Working with Partners to develop value added international trade business support solutions to encourage more West Midlands businesses to access, succeed and grow through Export Opportunities.

Working closely with the regions six Local Enterprise Partnerships to reinforce and enhance the DIT service offer, positioning this as being the preferred international trade service for LEPs across the West Midlands and maximising buy in of DIT services by LEPs. To establish LEP strategies for international trade and working with them to establish enhanced business support solutions through Growth Hubs and identify commonalities to develop a joined up strategy.

Working to develop broader business support solutions, to deliver key help for businesses through public and private funded projects that are managed centrally by the LLP but delivered locally through our constituent Chambers of Commerce.

Glyn Brazell

Head of Operations 

Responsible for business promotion and marketing, engagement of new clients, retaining existing clients through developing and delivering appropriate and relevant services, and providing business intelligence to deliver key insights for the business and its target market.

Capturing intelligence to feed into the business strategy and gathering information, conducting analysis and reporting to the Board of Directors.
